Sequence Learning and Cortical Modulation in a Mouse Model of Fragile X Syndrome

This project explores how the brain learns and responds to repeated sensory patterns, a process disrupted in Fragile X Syndrome (FXS). Using a whisker-based task and widefield calcium imaging, we compare behavioral and neural activity in wild-type and FMR1 knockout mice to uncover how sensory and frontal cortex dynamics contribute to sequence learning deficits in FXS.
